I Don't Know Much, But I Know I Love You Poem by alan brown

I Don't Know Much, But I Know I Love You

Rating: 5.0

Your eyes like pools of ice on a frosted pond
entered my heart and melted all within.
Sorrow was a thing of the past.
As I watched you move with an unknown grace
across the crowded room.

Your smile as bright as any Sun
lifted my expectations beyond belief.
As your voice echoed in my mind
while the sweetness of you tones enhanced me.
Love was just an unspoken word
until your feelings encrusted my soul

I never knew the beauty of your glance
until the moment passed me by in slumber.
As the dreams of the night succumbed
to your delicate embrace.
