I Don'T Know Who They Are Poem by Nom Nom Nom

I look over my shoulder and see thousands of people behind
I wonder if I just disappear, would any of them mind?
The path is clear, but with no end
and I'm alone, without a friend
the wind is cold as it hits my cheeks, freezing me to death
I breathe out, and can see my own breath

Now there's people beside me, stepping so close
walking side by side, attached by our elbows
who are these people? No one I know
who am I to follow?

People are slowing blocking my path, they're everywhere
they're closing in, trying to fix me, to start on the repair
I thought I was fine, I thought they could go
but I don't know who they are; all I know is that they live below
they are not bad, but they at not good
they've been with me since my childhood
I don't know who they are, I really don't know who they could be
all I know is they're trying to protect me from me
they know I harm, they know I'll do anything to feel
they know everytime when I skipped a meal
everything I do, they watch but don't speak
they catch all the tears running off my cheek
I don't know who they are, they're strangers in my eyes
but they hear my silent cries
they know I'm unsafe, so they close in
they know when I *choose* to live in sin

The suns gone, I'm close to home but I stop
watching them as they all decide to drop
they go on the floor, and look up to my face
Am I lost? I don't recongize this place
they start whispering, telling me that's a bad idea
all I want is my daddy to call me his litte panda
I want him to be proud of me
but he can't be
I want my mom to see me as me, not as my sister
I want to know what to do with all this anger
if all I could do was use the blade
I wouldn't be afraid
but I can't, I don't like the scars
on my wrist they look like shinning stars
