'' I Don't Want To Know '' Poem by Bri Mar

'' I Don't Want To Know ''

What's eternal living?
Is it after we die?
I have such a misgiving,
It could all be a lie.

The tales we're taught,
From birth till death,
Leave room for thought,
Do we take a last breath?

After we're gone,
What form will we take,
In the great new dawn,
Will we all have a stake.

Will capitalism rule,
Where we're forced to obey?
As God is no fool,
Will we still have to pay.

Are there rich and poor,
Among the masses,
The facts are obscure,
Are we placed into classes?

The starving and obese,
Are part of life here,
Each other we fleece,
Will this all disappear?

All those I hated,
Will they be invited,
If they are it is fated,
War will be incited.

How's heaven run,
Do we have an elite?
While they're having fun,
We're washing their feet.

What's too good to be true,
Is usually the case,
As you don't get a preview,
Of proof there's no trace.

You may say I'm crazy,
Just go with the flow,
When somethings too hazy,

‘' I Don't Want To Know ‘'
