I Finish My Poetical Career. To Balmont Poem by Liza Sud

What a tribute! ! There is a Latin phrase which has become an idiom in English which fits those situation of you and Balmont - NE PLUS ULTRA - that is, nothing can be greater. But does that mean YOU have to stop writing, or is the title (I FINISH MY POETICAL CAREER) a piece of exaggeration to show how powerfully Balmont has struck you? ! ? ! For a native speaker of English Shakespeare is ne plus ultra, n my case it took almost ten years to read all of his plays, sonnets, lyric & narrative poems. Once I had read and absorbed all of it I was awed by his variety and success, and you can recognize his style so there is no doubt one poet did all of this writing. Bur my reaction isn't to stop writing because I can't be a Shakespeare or Balmont, but rather to keep writing and experience that creativity to a lesser degree, of course, but still what you and I achieve may be small compared to them, but it is our creative success. Am I making sense here? I like this quotation: A WRITER IS NOT A SPECIAL KIND OF PERSON, RATHER EVERY PERSON IS A SPECIAL KIND OF WRITER.
