I Had A Hope Poem by Bekah Tav.

I Had A Hope

I had a hope dangling in
Front of me.
I had a smile almost,
Did you see?
I thought that maybe everything would be fine.
Oh, how wrong was I?
You took my burdens,
Set me free.
And as I floated around,
So easily.
I forgot to be careful,
Forgot not to trust.
And now because of that,
My happiness is lost.
So, where did you go?
To where did all my
Fears and sorrows flow?
Look deep inside me,
And you will see,
A pain inside not erased
So easily.
For all troubles come back,
When given the chance.
Sorrow wants to last and
Last and last.
And as I try so hard
To push it away.
The rain pours down
On me every single day.

Sun never shines on me
Anymore these days.
