I Had No Poem /I Had Nothing In Mind
I HAD NO POEM
I had no Poem
I had nothing in mind
Darkness in the world
Darkness inside.
I tried to think
I could not write
Darkness in the world
Darkness inside.
I repeated my theme
Again and again
Darkness in the world
Silence, no friend.
I try and I try
I need to write
A Poem is for me
A sign of Life.
What will be?
Will I ever know?
I write these words
Dawn so slow.
