I Have A Dream Poem by Katie Goodrum

I Have A Dream

Rating: 4.9

I have a dream,
That justice will be done.
I have a dream,
That we will shine like the sun.
I have a dream,
That people can be free.
I have a dream,
That people can be whom they want to be.
I have a dream,
That people can laugh together.
I have a dream,
That this will last forever.
I have a dream,
That there will be no racism.
I have a dream,
That we won't need criticism.
I have a dream,
That people will hold on.
I have a dream,
That together we'll be strong.
I have a dream,
That people won't be judged by their race.
I have a dream,
That there will be no need to haste.
I have a dream,
That everyone will see.
I have a dream,
That I can just be me!

I enjoyed the dream - but once again there is the use of repeating lines and starting line the same way hurts it - still its a wonderful dream - 9
