I Have Learnt Of Them Poem by Desmond Y. Eklu

I Have Learnt Of Them

Rating: 5.0

Cruising out at dawn with smiley faces
they show figures of happy people
with riches in appearance
they turn the world into their foothold
Saying what is not as is
They're what you know but don't know

But I've learnt of them

that faces at dawn are of hungry nights
off poor livelihood
with poverty in disguise
they are the filth of the world
I've learnt of them.
