You puffed off like the wind
Abandoned me
Without anyone to lean unto
Except the four elements
I was swayed by them
Wandered from one place to another
Hurt and damaged.
Fate turned on me
Someone came along
With a heart of an angel
She nurtured me
Gave me roots to stand on
And wings to fly.
Suddenly you came
Like a bombshell
You forced your way
Into my world
Reminded me
That you were the one
Who gave my life.
I have a tall wall put up
In my corner
Where only a few
Are allowed to go through
I have no memory of you
It is hard
To make you near me
And be in my corner.

Such a sad and touching poem of a child who was left alone in a world like this.
Someone came along! ! Thanks for sharing this poem with us.
A sad poem it appears of a child left in on its own to be nurtured by anoother sou and when the mother came back, the child rejected her for he has no memory of a mother. Very touching and well written poem.
How fate turns a person has been astutely and incisively delineated here. This poem is so moving. Brilliantly penned as sad poem on a child. Thanks for sharing.10
A wonderful wall that wills to be fenced from the hurt of the past bleeding into the present. Lovely lines that are eloquently expressed! Well done gifted poet!
