I heard the news today oh no!

Liverpool cries for her sons who die
But 4000 g I’s
What for!
Why not!
Who cares?
No answers to bring
One more soldier
One more sling
Good bye my friend good bye
Nameless hero in the sand
War and killing every day
What’s the purpose I pray?
Come back bagged up for the grave
Hold back feelings for the flag
Crying later very sad
Don’t go soldier what the point
Sadams gone from the front
War on terror so I heard
How many more must die
Seal the border save the child
Its getting late
No more their songs again to sing
