I Killed You With A Text..



I killed you with a text.


That morning you were in a rush.
You pushed past me to catch your bus.
I shouted at you as you slammed the door.
Me and mum worried about that man.
Lurking about trying to chat to young girls.
I texted you to be careful.
I texted you to be safe.
I texted you not to speak to strangers.
I texted you that I loved you.
My text arrived at 8.04.
The car at 8.05.
The witness said you had no chance.
You were head down.
Singing.
Headphones on.
A million miles away.
You still are…………
