I Knew (Right Direction) Poem by ESPN CHICK

Could it be that I was blind from the beginning
Never saw it coming until it was too late
I knew then I had to do something
Cause I couldn't keep living life this way
I had to make a choice
But how did I know if it was the right one
I had to go with my heart and I think it led me in the right direction
And I knew right then my whole world was about to change
I knew I would change into a different person
But I knew that I chose the right direction
And I won't turn back for nothing in this world
Cause I'm better than ever
Better than anyone could imagine
Figured out it was better living a life for someone whose always by your side
Then living the life I knew
Filled with nothing but pain and I was broken inside all over
But thats all over and this is me the new me
God took away the pain and I knew that I was a different girl
He changed my heart
Changed my whole world
I knew after I chose that path that I was making the right decision
And I'm not turning back anymore
