I Know (Abuse) Poem by Hannah Diane Williams

I Know (Abuse)

Rating: 5.0

I know he hits you

And I know it hurts

I know you wake up

And want to escape

But you can't because

He's constantly badgering you

And you can't escape because

Even if you tried, he'd find you

So you stay and continue to get hurt

Until one day

You're lying unconscious on the floor

You hear sirens and see the color white

But you don't wake up

Your worst nightmare has come true

You see the angels and wander your fate

However, even hell couldn't be worse than what you lived on earth.
