I Know That Man. Poem by Azriel Dreams

I Know That Man.

I knew who I was I remember why
That man that was, umm, that man was I.

I recall I did dream a past a future atop a mast
Of gold and sunsets filled to brim to bring happiness without a whim

Life's trials did appear and that man I knew did disappear
He shirked and shared his troubled woes and cast a wife but to her foes.

She knew a man that was he knew, a better man to begin this life anew.
Today's the day the sun shall shine and all decisions shall make a demise.

Good and bad or bad for good this man knew he stood,
A better man he did become for he knew that man had comeback again.

To work hard to shirk life's traumas to smile at its arbors, to believe again and see this day was built for he.

I love and see that trouble be but a shape of a mystery,
It rolls and rubs and chafes and scrubs but today I am that man I knew.
