I Know You Really Care Poem by Pamela O. Rucker

I Know You Really Care

Rating: 5.0

Lord I hope you're not finished with me
I'm still trying I pray that you can see
Life on this earth sometimes I can't bare
I feel all alone like no one really cares
My bed room I feel is my comfort zone
So that's where I stay from day light till dawn
My life no longer is as it was before
I feel I've lost everything until I've become poor
Should I try to start over or just give up?
I don't know, life's just gotten so tough
You said what we lost you would return to us
I know it'll be better and not just like it was
We just have to learn patience and have faith in your word
For how much more do you care for us than the tiny little birds
No matter what I've been through Lord I really know you care
For if you didn't I wouldn't be here, I'd be lost somewhere in despair

Wow, wonderful job, Pam! It was a joy to read. I felt like I could connect to the person in the poem; feel his/her loss, pain, and faith. It inspires to never give up, have faith and hang on to the light no matter what hardships come our way. Simply fantastic!
