I Look At Life Differently

(3/30/12)

We all look at life in different ways
Most keep quite, while others have things to say.
I am not a vocalist - I am a writer as you can see
Politics don't interest me.

I write about things that I see and feel
Some are fiction, some are real.
There are many different forms of expression all around
Some with silence, many with sound.

Every time that I walk out of my door
There is so much that I'm grateful for
A roof over my head, a bed in which to sleep
And food to eat.

Yet there are so many questions in my mind
So many answers I've yet to find.
So many places I've yet to see
While looking for some company.

I pay my bills and have some fun
But I know I'm not the only one.
I live to love and I love to live
And I have so much to give.

My words and my heart are on my sleeve
For all to see, cause I live my life differently.
If you are to love me, love me for me
And not the way you want me to be.
