I Lost You (Were You Ever Mine) Poem by stacey berry

I Lost You (Were You Ever Mine)

illusion is such a mystery,
it makes a mountain of a molehill,
for evn as i forfited your history,
i never know your present still,
at first it seemed the right thing,
to leak into your ever and smile,
in my mind a small voice did ring,
that your eyes were my tutstille,
of course you had another lover,
but did tht matter to me,
for my boyish heart thought it was clever,
to chose you, own you, do you see,
with each chance meeting carefully arranged by me,
what a futile chance,
you were right,
that i am derangled,
to her wish for something more,
now that your final words have been said,
me the last funny line,
to woo you from your presetn stead,
i lost you(were you ever mine) ?
