I Love Malta Poem by Sylvia Chidi

I Love Malta

I'm feeling hot like the sun in July
Feeling blessed, I drink it with my eyes
I'm on the island where the history never dies
I love this place; it gives me a natural high

I'm in love with this island, the colors and the vibe
The crystal-clear waters, it's like paradise
From St Julian's to Mellieha Bay
The Maltese coastlines just takes my breath away

I love Malta, oh it's such a thrill
From the Blue Lagoon to Valetta Hill
It's a feast for my senses, I can feel the chill
I love Malta, and I always will

The sea is so clear, it's like a mirror
And the sand so gold, I just want to stay near
It doesn't matter if it's night or day, I don't fear
Beause in Malta, life's just full of cheer

I can see the beauty in every corner
The architecture, the cobbled streets, it's a wonder
I'm in love and I don't care, in Malta I surrender
To the sun, the sea, the sand and the splendor

The food is a fusion, from rabbit to pastizzi
I love it all, no wonder it's making me dizzy
The nightlife is crazy, and the bars are so chill
The Maltese hospitality, it's the real deal

Valletta's got the culture, the history, the art
A UNESCO world heritage site, it's got my heart
Hypogeum's a must-see, the temples, the churches
The Maltese don't play, they got fireworks for days

I love Malta, oh it's such a thrill
From the Blue Lagoon to Valetta Hill
It's a feast for my senses, I can feel the chill
I love Malta, and I always will

I Love Malta
