I LOVE THE NAMES OF TREES
I love the names of trees
Lilac apple peach pear poplar
Juniper spruce fir pine maple
Redwood oak linden birch
Cypress date –palm dream
Each name a picture a suggestion a scent
And many memories
I love the names of trees
And the calm they make for my mind
And the feeling they give
That Beauty is in the very saying and seeing of things
I love the names of trees,
The names of flowers also
And so much Beauty there is in the world
And so much color and green
I love the names of trees.
