I prayed so long for so many years
My heart was filled with so many tears
I wanted you so much in my life, it hurt like an open sore
So much that it physically hurt to the core
Physicians told me that it could never be
But my heart would not agree
Many times i have given up hope
I had to learn to go on in life and just to cope
Yet i continued to pray
Each and everyday
I got on my knees
And asked the Lord please.....
To bless my womb with a child such as you
I knew that it was in his timing that i would receive you
And when i finally did, i knew....
I was so happy that i cried my tears of joy
I didn't care if you were a girl or a boy
I couldn't wait to see your precious face
From that moment on, no one could ever take your place
I want you to know that i love you with every beat of my heart
For that is where i loved you from the start
You're my miracle in life, a gift from heavens sky
With you.... the rivers will never run dry
I hope that as you grow, you'll remember my love for you
And all that i have done, i've done for you
Your my baby, my child, my sweetie
In my heart is where you'll always be
I want to see you grow
How much i love you, i hope you'll always know

And as you grow to mature, i will surely age.....
But in my heart, i'll write down the memories from page to page
You'll always be my baby girl, my little princess
For my life with you has always been priceless...
And if tomorrow dosen't come for me
I hope that you live life to your fullest, and be all that you can be
Climb the highest mountain, and swim in the deepest sea
Let no obstacle get in your way of what you want to do

And never forget to get on your knees to pray...
