I Love You



Beady eyes looked to the skies
A figure looming, tragedy brooding
Skipped heart beats, the man wore pleats
A hand reaching, soul’s force depleting
Gasping for air, whispered prayer
“Why are you doing this? ...” his name was Chris
“…once, we loved each other…”
He killed her without an eye’s flutter
