I Love You But I Do Fear For My Life. Poem by Changez Ndzai

I Love You But I Do Fear For My Life.

Your father is a very prominent person,
While I am just an ordinary citizen,
High rank personality in the government,
Also has direct connection to the president.

You are his only daughter and next of kin,
He is very careful, your life not to end in a bin,
So if he realise am with you in love plangent,
He may take me behind the bars in enrolment.

Girl don't take me to a coward grin,
Because I know this war we wont win,
Our lifestyles repels each other like magnet,
Its very clear you can't hide your love in my net.

You are so beautiful and shines like the moon,
Your entire life has been glittering like sun at noon,
I love you for really, but I do fear thus why am silent,
Hope you will understand my request, I am not a saint.
