I can't love you for all the things I don't know about you
I can't hate you for all the things that I don't like about you
I love you just enough to keep you close to me
I hate you only enough to keep you from getting too close
I love and hate you the same for all the things that I do or do not see
I love and hate you both in black and white
When all the colors fade to grey
I love you in white for all of the brightness you take from my heart
I love you in black for all the darkness you put in my soul
We love one another neither in black or white
Because we've sucked all of the colors out of each other
