I Love You, Jesus Poem by Marcquiese Burrell

I Love You, Jesus

When I think of the sacrifice you've made on the cross
I know that my sins are forgiving
When I think of how man neglected you having not the faith
until you rose from the grave
God sent you into the world to save
All of the lost souls who may not know you
I love you, jesus
I love you so much
you stayed with me never leaving me
when I needed you most

I turn to you when I don't know where else to go
you seem to know me much better than I know myself
my pride gets in the way and I can't admit I need help
I don't realize how big of a hole I dug
but you continue pulling me out of a rut
I love you, jesus
I love you so much
you stayed with me, never leaving me
when I needed you most

when I think of the greatness of your love
I just want to sing praises
When I think of how good your love is
You are just that amazing
I love you, jesus
I love you so much
you stayed with me, never leaving me
when I needed you most
