Written like I would never see you again
When it touches your heart
Our love will never end
These are not just words
Coming from my pen
This is a promise that even eternity cannot rend

If you were a pot a gold
The longest rainbow couldn't stop me from reaching you
If you were a blues song
I would be happy and never blue
If you were a morning
I would be happy if I were dew
If you were an artist
I would want to be the drawing that you drew

You are fire
You are light
You are day
You are night

You are kindness
You are love
You are an eagle
You are a dove

And I will never surrender my love for you
