I Love You Still
While your eyes
still burn in mine,
your love still yearns for me,
from each other
we will never be free,
even if you leave me.
Even if you betray
our love
and swear by God above
that your feelings are void
the sun still shines
and reminds me
and in every woman’s face
yours are reflected
and in every female voice
I hear yours.
I love you still
and forever will
even if it devours me.
