Why not be weak
Why not be scared
Why not be ashamed
Why not cry
I'm a human
Why not regret
Why not repent
Why not forgive

There is a huge amount of wisdom in this poem. Our media and our society seem to not tolerate weakness, shame, sadness, regrets. These feelings are so natural. It is only if we systematically push away these feelings, that they will hide somewhere deep in our subconscious mind and sit there eating away our stomach lining, causing us to have ulcers. If we allow these feelings to flow freely when they come, we live our life as a full human being. There is no need to be afraid of sadess. Let us just live through it and let it flow away. I have written a very short poem along this line as well (X.. a little sadness) .
