I'm A Spy Poem by Ambika Kaushik

I'm A Spy

My eyes are sunking dark
Hopeless! !for even a tiny spark
Groan!only can be heard
& I agree it's absurd
Absurd for you to hear my pain
but I'll never speak again
I'm being buried in pothole
I was potent.. but now just a soul
& I write to joggle..
for no-one dies like I did
for all can fly to forbid
To refuse the nation's security
as we too deserve soldier's parity
We choose the country and not the pride
my wife too should be a proud bride
I gave every single cell of mine
expect something at least, I'm not divine
My family to raise head and walk
Solace,they get just a shock
to belong to a betrayer who died
My identity was..for the nation I spied
My identity was.. for YOU I died
