I'm Attracted To Her But Poem by ART PAUL SCHLOSSER

I'm Attracted To Her But

I'm attracted to her but not enough to do anything
She's beautiful and makes me want to sing
But I realize it just won't work out
So though she makes me scream and want to shout
I'll just let the whole thing go
She's not my type I know
And with her the days and the years
In the end would only lead to tears

So I walk away
Though I want to stay
And wait for the day
I find a better parade

It has to be more than beauty for me
Flattery also isn't the key
We both have to have something in common
Cause arguing and fighting isn't always fun
So if they aren't into what I am
Then maybe one should stay away from them
Or maybe just be their friend
Because one can't date every single person
