I'm Extremely Grateful

Walking along side you
Dreaming of you
Waking up next to you
I'm extremely grateful
Coming home to you
Knowing I'm going to get you there
That is the best feeling ever
I'm extremely grateful
Loving you and being loved by you
And trusting in our lives
That makes every breath I take a very special one
Looking at me and smiling
That is an indication of how appreciated I am
And that is what others dream of
Here I am living that dream
I'm extremely grateful

poet Christina Georgina Rossetti

Where sunless rivers weep
Their waves into the deep,
She sleeps a charmed sleep:
Awake her not.
Led by a single star,
She came from very far
