First time we met
got my lips wet,
the idea of being together
there could be nothing better.
Listened closely to what was said,
soaked up the knowledge into my head.
I was in awe, the first time I saw
my love shine just like a star.
I love the season and I love the shore
but no love for no beach, because that's law.
I wanted to run up in raw
to work the muscles all in my jaw.
I had no obsession for the bling
said be my Queen and I'll be your king.
Stepped back as she grew strong,
didn't think she'd be around too long.
I love her with all my heart
with every flower I take apart.
She said she'd help me become great,
but I wanted to give and never take.
She promised that I'd never feel pain
and never be without pleasure again.
And if the rain stops she would cry
to let me drink the tears from her eye.

Prayed to God that she would never leave me.
I always tell the truth hope she believes me.
Making her the one was not my goal,
it all started on out first stroll.
She told me to let her in my life.
Next thing I wanted to make her my wife.
Watched as so many chased her,
even abused and raped her.
Can't lie, my intentions were the same.
You know what they say, hate the player not the game.
But she made me promise to never do that
and so I had to put down the gat.
To be with her I had to embrace her first born
and stop the hell bent ways that I was on.
She didn't like the drugs but had to deal with it
and said I could use her for the free meal ticket.
First time I wrote her she said I was smooth,
I was a little shy making the first move.
Everyone battles to be her number one guy
even girls sometimes give her a try.
That spot was always meant to be mine,
it just took me a little bit of time.
So I went for it and never looked back
but before I see her I need a sack.

Someone asked 'Do I really love her'
I said 'I don't know'.
The streets took my heart
ripped out my soul.
First time she told me to let her be,
I laughed in her face, there's more fish in the sea.
But I came right back not too much later
to my surprise the love had grew greater.
So fine, divine, like sipping on wine
She out shines me but the streets remind me.
That she's where I need to be,
she even excused my sordid history.
Take her spirit with me everywhere I go
because of her I take things slow.
Underestimated how deep we connected,
first thought was I'd be rejected,
her acceptance wasn't what I expected,
her love for me is well respected.
First time out in public was real cool,
tryed to cover my mouth to hide the drool.
With her I just be myself and everything's good
she even likes the fact that I'm a little hood.
I had to climb to the tip top to get her
that's why I'm in love with....Hip Hop forever! ! !
