I'M Just A Bird In A Cage Poem by Spring's Enslaved Beauty

I'M Just A Bird In A Cage

Rating: 5.0

I'm just a bird In a cage
Who dares to
dream of innocent
Freedom
From which I cannot escape
To the silver
Studded iron bars I look
To sing a solemn tone
 To sing my captivity away
My Feet are bound in chains as my wings are plucked and stripped tied too tight for this lonely night
I will have my freedom if you
Will set me free
Because even a captive like me
Can be set free
Oh I see a place for me
beyond this onyx cage
I see a place for me
In the sky up high
Where my spirit can fly free
Away from your evil eye
