I'M Just A Fool For You Poem by Ioan Mourat

I'M Just A Fool For You

Life never seemed any better
or maybe even worse,
beause I can’t hold the thought of losing you.
Inside my mind I can’t get the words out.
I wanted to say it right
because I feeling like we’re skating on thin ice,
And these three words will save us,
While they hang in the stars.

And the world’s spinning for us,
We have them all at our feet.
We can do whatever
Just stay in my arms.
You’ll always be in my heart
Nothing will tear us apart,
you never begged to differ
The Sunrise will be the start.

So let’s just say I’m over you,
as much as I know that it can’t be true.
because as hard as I try to forget,
you stop me right dead in my tracks.

And you’ve caught me red handed.
I don’t know if I can stand it anymore.
These lines that scar my wrists,
I guess this is what you call desperate.

Oh too late I guess it wasn’t meant to be.
You’re killing me,
I thought it would never end
but in the end this wasn’t worth saving.
And I don’t know why,
I don’t really care we’re over and done with.

While all the time you’ve got this heart filled with smoke,
so I bled, while you knew your choice.
So let’s break this pattern of a poem,
Your face and your hair,
I’ll move on,
ignore your stare

Move on, let go, and take this new, challenging dare.
