I could write you a poem everyday
To show you how much you're appreciated in every way
You give your all in everything you do
You're a brilliant and compassionate doctor, I'm so proud of you
Long hours you work with little sleep
I know some days you feel dead on your feet
You inspire those around you, with your fortitude and grace
Not many could keep up with your busy pace
You have an inner strength that's hard to find
I understand you completely, that's why our hearts are so closely entwined
You give so much more than you're willing to take
You have my love and support in every decision you make
Determination and confidence get you through each day
Life's obstacles will not get in the way
When I think of all the things you've accomplished in life so far
You shine brighter than the brightest night star
You have a selflessness that sets you apart
It's because you have such a beautiful heart
The pride I have for you is hard to describe
You could see it if you could see yourself through my eyes
