I'm Sorry....

I'm sorry that i can't be there with you,
This is something i never meant to do.

You look up to me so much,
I'll never forget the minute you were born and our first touch.

Everyone says you are looking so much like me,
It hurts so much that i'm not there to see.

Day by day your getting bigger and older,
Every night without you is getting darker and colder.

I never want to let you go when i see you,
When you leave, you aren't the only one that cries, I do too.

Someday i really hope you learn to forgive,
This is not the life i wanted you to live.

You are my little man and my best friend,
Just remember I'm your dad and always will be there to the very end.
