I'M Still Alive.. Poem by ryuu age

i had a dream,
I’m running happily to school,
I’m laughing with my friends during recess,
I’m training for the next game,
That’s what I’ve been dreaming all this while.

But yesterday,
I’ve dreamed about not be able to run,
Not be able to laugh happily,
Not be able to attend my training,
I can’t even move freely.

When I woke up,
I began to realize,
My mind now is able to accept that I’m different from before,
That I’m no longer well,
My mind is accepting,
But my body is rejecting the fact.

That night I hold a knife in my hand,
I cut myself,
I thought that’s the end of my life,
But I woke up, I’m alive,
I can’t even complete that task.

From that moment,
Every night,
I hope there won’t be tomorrow,
I hope that’s the last night of my life,
But the next day,
I’m still alive..
