Its a big big ocean so baby dont fall in
Them waves will crash you down love
so keep that pretty head held up high
that sand will steal you away
so baby watch your step
Please darlin' dont fall
you'll only get drowned
I know it looks tempting but
dont let go of my hand
Please dont forget when the tide
gets high Ill still be here

Its a long long trip, you say
maybe itll be full of arguments
or maybe itll be just great
its a big big step you say
youre just scared youll fall
but im worth the trip, dont you think.

Its a long long way down
so not worth the jump
you'll only fall for a few minutes
then you'll break
you're sitting on the ledge
with tears in your eyes
and speaking no words at all
before you told me that we're broken
but you cant throw us away

So baby why dont you
step away from that ledge
and lets pick up the pieces together

because cant you see im still here
