I miss the way we talked for hours
and the way we synchronized
I miss those unexpected late night showers
that left us out of breath

I miss the way you made me feel
like a godess that deserved the world
I miss the way it felt to be held in your arms
And the warmth of your skin upon me

I miss the way I felt so safe
just knowing that you loved me
I miss the dreams we shared together
that we swore would someday come true

I miss the way you made me laugh
for hours at a time
I miss the sound of your own laughter
that made me giggle because I was so proud that you were mine
