I Miss A Boy Poem by Eliza Stone

I Miss A Boy

I miss a boy.
In early morning, we shared,
In early morning, we dared,
Awake at each others side.
I miss many girls,
Many I shared,
With open heart,
I shared,
But never with a boy,
Have I shared,
So free,
As the sun.

Spin the galaxy,
It is only love that I seek.
Flesh will crawl,
Away from bone,
Leave nothing left,
For the dog to carry home.
Love is blind,
It will take over your mind.

Be sure your walls are thick,
Be sure you are safe at home.
Even.
Although, you may find yourself in bed.
All alone,
And there is no one.
Not to read sad poems.

I long for that boy.
