I Miss You Still So Very Much Poem by Peter S. Quinn

I Miss You Still So Very Much

Rating: 4.0

I miss you still so very much, my dear
You were the one who gave me life and love;
You were the one who always held me near,
You were the one who shone like stars above.

You left me too soon, and I don't understand
Why fate was so cruel, and took you away;
You left me alone, and I can't comprehend
How to go on, or how to face the day.

You live in my heart, and in my mind,
You live in my memories, and in my dreams;
You live in my soul, and in my kind,
You live in my words, and in my schemes.

But all I want is to see you once more,
To hug you, and kiss you, and hear you implore.
