I Must Forget. Pull Poem by Karin Holloway

I Must Forget. Pull

I must forget. Pull from the parking lot of constancy.
Idle somewhere else. It was illegal.
I took your love and used it - yes
to hand it back sucked dry. You'll find it anew
and alive. I will thrive
on other lives in other places - I too have a goal.
I've not been fair before.
It is time to set you free.
