Every time I close my eyes,
I can see you staring at me
Every time I walk alone,
I wonder where you are.

Every time I speak,
I can see you trying to listen
Every time I dream,
I wonder for how long I will dream of you.

Every time I see myself fighting,
I can see you trying to stop me
Every time I sit quite,
I wonder why you not here to make me laugh.

Every time I sleep,
I can see you lying beside me
Every time in the mornings when I’m awake,
I wonder when you will give me a good morning kiss.

Every time I sit down for lunch,
I can see you praising me
Every time I cook,
I wonder whether you will ever have this food.

Every time I go to the room,
I can see you peeping naughtily inside
Every time I shout,
I wonder whether you are there listening to me.

Every time I get ready,
I can see you smiling and complimenting me
Every time I get out of the house,
I wonder whether you are coming to pick me up.

Every time I watch rains,
I can see you driving me crazy
Every time I’m drenched in rains,
I wonder whether you will reach me with a towel.

Every time I think of you,
I can see your love
Every time I want to reach you,
I wonder where, I am.
