I Pray
As I sit and wait
I pray that you ignore the devil's bait
As I stand and walk
I pray you hear God talk
As I start to run
I pray you love God’s Son
As I see you there
I pray that you will care
As you notice me, too
I pray you say, 'I love you, '
As I hear it without lie
I pray I won’t start to cry
As I say 'I love you, ' back
I pray you won’t let my world go black
