I Prayed Today/Before The Amud



I prayed today
before the Amud
For the first time in a long time
I gave it everything I have
All my soul
And it gave me the feeling
Of how deeply the prayer is in me
And how great my need for it
And how much I love it
And how it has made me life meaningful
And how I want to pray with all my soul
All the way to the end of my life
With all I have.
