I prefer

I prefer being high
Then having to cry
I prefer having to run
Then to hold a gun
I prefer having you near
Then having to fear of loosing you my dear
I prefer feeling your love
Then having cold showers on and off
I prefer to feel wanted by you
So that I can be proud to call you my boo
I prefer to touch the sky
Then just floating by
I prefer to express how I feel
Then to suppress my inner fear
I also prefer to kiss you goodnight
Then having to skype
But we can't always have what we prefer
I just hope that what we have won't end up as a failure
