I really did.
Like that you said you liked me for me.
That you called or texted every day.
That you said you cared.

But if you liked me for me.
You wouldn't ask me to be like her.
When you texted me.
You were just bored.
And if you cared.
You would have talked to me yourself.

But I really did.
Like that you lied to make me fill better.
That you said you wanted me forever.
I liked that my heart skipped a beat like a scratched cd whenever your name would light up in my cellphone screen.
