I Search Poem by Oscar Robles

I Search

Searching the clouds for a sign
Something, a shape to ease my mind
Rolling hills and mountain tops
Desert landscape covered in snow
A sound, a raindrop to let me know
You're there, You see me
Looking down upon me in your own way
Seven months passed since that August day
Yes, you're there, You try to ease the pain
Softness, caressing me with the rain
Are they tears? I feel they are
You long to be here and not so far
I know, it's not fair
Me here and You there
Never would We have thought it would be this way
Never, never that August day
