I See Her Poem by Craig Mize

I See Her

I seen her
I mean I see her
I see her pain
Even through glossy eyes
I mean even through hidden truths
And them camouflage lies
I see her.

I see her hurt
Buried deep down
Hoping that it'll never be found
Covered with misleading happiness
To afraid to admit what's happening
Reluctant to let the truth be told
So inside like a cancer it grows
I see her

I see her
A child that is to afraid to open up
So instead her emotions stays shut
She feels trapped and wants to be free
But is to afraid to speak
She is to scared to ask for help
So now she feels alone and by herself
I see her

I see her
Even though no one else does
Invisible to most even the ones she love
A prisoner in her own mind
Can't smile without crying
Her only wish in this world
Is to be seen and to be heard
Not only do I I hear her cry
I see her and will remain by her side
