I See You From Afar; Poem by Carlin Jones

I See You From Afar;

I see from afar to watch you from a distance, it was time and patience when it came upon being in your presense; that my heart would throb for whenever you passed me by, from our rides on the elevator, our hands holding for only that moment wish it could of last a little while longer to wondering what your lips felt like against mine, how i couldn't wait for monday to see you, and enjoying the wee hours of hanging out of wednsdays wishing the day would never end; but reality would struck and i knew i could only admire you from afar for you were my boss, and yet dreaming of you asking me out hoping that's still in the stars for when our paths cross; but know we are far from one another but a far that we are i still feel that we are closer by distance and time.
