I Shot Her Down Poem by Ronnie Forest

I Shot Her Down

I shot her down,
I shot her down,
I didn't stay around for the night,
I didn't come back later,
I shot her down.

I didn't stay around,
I didn't stay around,
I thought I'd pull out a gun,
Shoot her in the head, now she's gone,
I didn't stay around.

She never did no wrong,
She never did nothing wrong,
It was me with my psycho mind,
It was me with the gun,
She never did no wrong.

I gotta get out of here,
I gotta get out of here,
I took a one life, why don't take another,
I have a bullet left,
I gotta get out of here.

Well noted, cause this actually is a song I made, I wrote most of the lyrics later.

Short poem but nice expression....the language used is simple, colloquial, yet expressive....Best wishes for your writings

The language I use might be quite simple, cause my native language isn't English. But thanks for the comment and I wish you the best as well!
